Questions
Can I use my own domain for mail?
Yes, on every paid plan; Free uses an HDQTRS address. We set up the DNS records with you (MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC) so mail from your domain is delivered and trusted.
What happens when I need more seats than my plan includes?
Add them. Each extra seat is billed per month at the rate shown on the plan, pro-rated from the day it is added, and you can remove seats whenever you like.
Is there a trial?
Free is free for as long as you like, for one person. The paid plans have 14 days on trial, no card up front; if you do nothing at the end, the account drops back to Free.
What is the invoice fee on Free?
Nothing on the invoice itself — send as many as you like, and a customer who pays by bank transfer costs you nothing. If they pay by card through the Pay button on the invoice page, HDQTRS keeps 1% of that payment, capped at £5, plus the card processor’s own fee passed on at cost (about 1.5% + 20p for UK cards). On paid plans the HDQTRS share is 0%; you pay processing only.
What if I need more storage?
On any paid plan, each additional 100 GB is £2 a month and each additional TB is £15 a month. Storage is pooled across the organisation, and downloads and share links are never metered or charged.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Mail has a full export, invoices download as PDF, and any folder in Storage can be downloaded as a zip.
Where is my data kept?
On servers we run ourselves, behind Cloudflare. The privacy policy sets out what is stored, for how long, and who processes it.
What does Custom actually mean?
HDQTRS, modified to fit your organisation: your own single-tenant server, your domain, and changes to the apps themselves where you need them. We build, run and release it the same way we do for HDQTRS itself.
Are the prices including VAT?
Prices are shown ex VAT. VAT is added where it applies.
